Useful information
A Balkan State and ex-member of Yugoslav federation, Slovenia became the first republic to split from Yugoslavia in 1991. With its 2 million inhabitants, Slovenia, member of the European Union since 2004 and of the Eurozone since 2007, is considered as a developed Western economy. Its RFT flag is a link between the Balkan States and the large economic area of Italy, Austria and, in a certain extend, Germany.
Slovenia is part of the European program of CNR. The first study on its RFT sector was carried out in 2019.
